How many days does sea freight from Turkey to the USA take?
Approximately 20–30 days to the East Coast (New York, Savannah, etc.) and 35–45 days to the West Coast (Los Angeles, Long Beach, etc.).
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means renting a whole container. LCL (Less Container Load) means sharing a container with other shipments.
What is the cheapest shipping method?
Sea freight is the most economical method for large-volume shipments.
Are there weekly LCL departures?
Yes. We offer regular weekly LCL consolidation services from Istanbul, Mersin, Izmir, and Gemlik ports to the USA.
What container types are available?
Most common types: 20'DC (standard), 40'DC (standard large), 40'HC (high cube). Special containers such as reefer, open-top, and flat-rack are also available.
What is demurrage and detention?
Demurrage: container staying at the port beyond the free time. Detention: container held at the customer's premises beyond the free time. Both incur additional charges.
Why do sea freight rates change constantly?
Freight rates fluctuate based on supply-demand balance, seasonal cycles, fuel costs (BAF), exchange rates, and carrier policies.
Are customs and port charges included?
Our standard freight quotes are port-to-port based. Customs, local port charges, and distribution fees are presented as separate items.
Do you offer door-to-door service?
Yes. We provide end-to-end service including factory pickup, customs, ocean freight, destination port operations, and final delivery.
What if my cargo doesn't fill a container?
You can use our LCL (partial) service. Your cargo is consolidated with other shipments in the same container for economical transport.
